Working with travel-blogging pioneer, TravelPod and their parent company, TripAdvisor, Relish developed a tool to help people share photos in a way that does them justice. Who wants to make people click through another boring album? Enter TripWow. A "jaw-dropping slideshow featuring your vacation photos and trip on a map".
Users can use photos from almost any source (Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, etc.) and easily feed them into one of 15 themes with customizable map points, co-stars, and music.
The end result is something that feels more like the intro to a National Geographic travel show than your average slideshow. Your friends and family are going to think you've been moonlighting as a filmmaker.
It's so easy, even your grandma could make one
The great thing about TripWow is that anyone can make one. The guys at TravelPod built a handy little 'builder' tool that lets users create their own TripWow with just a few simple steps. First, choose from 15 possible themes. Second, import photos directly from Facebook, Flickr, Picasa or your Computer. Finally, all you need to do is click a few spots on a map and you're ready to start impressing your friends with a slideshow so slick, they'll think they're watching a travel show.
