Bueller? Bueller?
We know most of you probably thought we’d abandoned you but fear not, after an unexpected pause (thank you City of Toronto Permit office!), we are back in business. We even brought in some extra help but as you can see, all he did was lay around on the job.
With the floors sparkling upstairs, it’s time to start a flooring makeover downstairs. Step 1 of the stained plywood project is complete.
Aside from a few dusty footprints, the floor reno project is done! We’re not even sure that brand new floors would have looked any better than this. Anyone else feel the urge to bust out some RayBans and a pair of tighty whities?
With the first wave of sanding and filling complete, the hardwood on the second floor is really starting to take shape and lighten the whole place up.
2 big milestones were achieved today:
Making a mess is the easy part. Deciding how to clean it up, not so much. Web nerds that we are, we resorted to some Photoshop carpentry to explore our options. What’s your favourite?
