Move in! Ok, we’re not quite ready for that housewarming party and still have a few pieces to finish up but internet is setup and computers are moved over so we are officially operational! Monday will be day 1 of life at 205.

Two days left! A/C installed, phone/network connections finished, lighting, exit signs, stair railings, and a few other remaining items for inspection.
Day 168 – part 2
A bit of tiling, a bit of plumbing, a bit of electrical, and we’re ready for furniture.

An update so big, it required two posts! We’re really down to the final steps now and with just a week and a half left till move in, the todo list is getting shorter.
Day 160
Still plenty of finishing touches left but the painting has begun, shelves are going in, and we are inching our way to the finish line.

Home stretch? Not quite there yet but we are a point where we can start taping and priming walls and prepping the space for finishes!

Not a ton to see upstairs but what you can’t see is the shit ton of cabling now in place for phones, network, power and audio. At the same time, the first floor has seen some huge progress with walls up and plumbing in for bathrooms and the kitchenette.

And the brick is done! Now that the grout is in, you can’t even tell if we found it behind the drywall or not. Beams are still unfinished but almost all in and the kitchen is well on its way too.

Following up on the small preview in our last post, here’s some progress on our “exposed” brick wall and wooden beams. For the record, it is real brick!
